CF.lumen v2 for KitKat: Adapt the colors on your device based on the position of the sun

CF.lumen for Android

Would you like to set your Android device’s color depending on the location of the sun or by your custom configurations?

Now you have an application that helps you do that, it is called CF.lumen.

Perhaps there are users who remember that in 2011 was an interesting Chainfire3D plugin called CF.lumen that changed the display’s colors basing on the position of the sun or according to time of day, a customizable color filter to help reduce eye fatigue. This plugin only worked on devices that had Android 2.x.

Today, we talk about an application that goes on Android KitKat devices.
The app functions are similar to the old plugin allowing you to set filters and color depending on the time of day, with three conditions available day, sunset and sleep, which can be adjusted as you like.
For example, when you use the default settings, for sleep, the display will receive warm shades, reducing eye strain. It is known that blue light makes the brain active, and a warm shade of blue reduces the effort of your brain when you want to rest. In sleep option is using a red filter that protects night vision.
In addition, you can also use the master override any time you want, or allow the light sensor override the existing settings.
Extra filters are available, like inverting colors, manual channel modifications, and also increases for the colorblind.
You can find more information on Chainfire’s Google+ page, and the CF.lumen application for your Android device is free for download from Google Play Store.
