How to check your Google data

If you wish to check your Google data, it is pretty much simple. You just have to check Google’s history page. If you are signed into your Google account, you will be presented with all your information.

Open history.google.com/history

There are various sections in this page such as:

• Web & App History
• Voice & Audio Activity
• Device Information
• Location History
• YouTube Watch History
• YouTube Search History

How To Deactivate Your Google History

If you wish to deactivate for a while, you can choose to do and reactivate it after some time. Let’s see how you can do it.

1. Open your Google history page on any browser.
2. Click on the data section you want to disable. (e.g. Location History).
3. Choose the 3-dot menu button located on the top-right corner of the page.
4. Choose “Settings”.
5. You will get a switch next to the writing “Your searches and browsing activity”. Tap it off.
6. You will get a message telling you some information about what this action may lead to.
7. Choose “Pause” if you’re ok with this.
8. Redo the process for each of the history sections you wish to disable. Or from any of the Settings pages, select “SHOW MORE CONTROLS” and toggle them all off.

How to delete your Google history

1. Open Google history page on any browser.
2. Click on the data section you wish to disable.
3. Click on the 3-dot menu button located top-right corner of the page.
4. Choose “Delete options”.
5. Now you can choose whether you want to delete data from today or yesterday. Selecting “Advanced” will let you    remove the past 4 weeks of activity. But if you really want every single trace of information to disappear you can    choose “All time”.
6. Make your choice and click on “Delete”.
7. Confirm your choice.
8. Redo the process for each of the history sections you wish to delete.
