For applying this instruction manual, you need to be an advanced Android user because it is a manually update. If something goes wrong you can easily brick or damage your device.  This new update comes with numerous new tweaks and new security patches.

Pre-requisites:

  • These informations and instructions listed here work only with the Samsung Galaxy S3 model number I535.
  • The Samsung Galaxy S43 device needs to have an unlocked bootloader.
  • The SGS3 device needs to be rooted and have to be installed and running a custom recovery image such as CWM or TWRP recovery.
  • Take the backup your actual running ROM using the custom Recovery Mode, and get a full NANDROID backup for your actual ROM.
  • This NANDROID backup will represent a restore point for S3 device in case something goes wrong during or after flashing tutorial.
  • This guide will ask you to ‘wipe data/ factory reset’ of your smartphone.
  • That means all of your data stored in the internal device’s memory will be erased.
  • All data stored on the smartphone’s internal SD card will not be erased / wiped out.
  • Now, in terms of getting a full backup for your important data, you have to take the back up your SMS, Call Logs HistoryAPN and internet Settingssync your contacts with your Gmail account in order to save your contacts,
  • Also, take the backup all your documents, images, videos, or any other important files using Google Play Store apps developed for these kinds of activities or backup them on the cloud.
