Amazon Kindle App V4.6 Adds Immersive Mode, Option To Choose System Brightness And More

Kindle app for Android that allows you to buy and read books from Amazon even without having a Kindle eBook reader has just been updated to version 4.6.0.

Perhaps the search menu and form that you need to fill out when purchasing a book is not exactly friendly, but the application itself is well built and highly configurable according to your preference.

Now, Amazon Kindle v 4.6.0 brings several new features and performance improvements.
For books with audio, now you will experience an improved listening experience. If Bluetooth is disconnected when you are listening from a Bluetooth smartphone or tablet, playback will automatically pause. “Pair with Bluetooth devices” permission is required for this feature.

Readers with devices running Android version 4.4+ can now read their favorite books in immersive full-screen mode.
Another new feature is the option to choose system brightness in reader settings by tapping the “Aa” icon.
Moreover, if you tap the bottom right corner of the screen you can lock the orientation so you can turn the device in any direction and read on your side or back.

To download Amazon Kindle for Android v4.6 go to Google Play Store.
