HTC has just released a new firmware update for its Tegra 3-powered, HTC One X device, the new update is Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update with Sense 5 UI.
Not long time after the HTC One X started to receive the Android 4.2 update in Asia, now HTC Europe make available for its One X users this new update.
According to XDA forum the new Android 4.2 with Sense 5 user interface available for European HTC One X device is namely version 4.18.401.2 and has around 380 MB size. As you know that the new release comes with many features from HTC One device, where it includes the new Gallery and Camera apps, BlinkFeed home screen experience, automatic video highlights, Lockscreen widgets, Quick settings panel.
Moreover, the later release brings also access to 12 different settings using a single swipe, a new improved user interface, albeit minor and a new way to see the battery level percent which is displayed next the battery icon directly in the status bar.
As I said before new improvements for gallery app were integrated with the latest update, here we can see the video highlight effects, and 12 different themes. For HTC One X smartphone’s camera, the new firmware comes with auto exposure and autofocus lock which is available in the OS camera app. Lastly, you will enjoy listening your favorite music with the new way to visualize your songs with live lyrics.
