AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II device has started to receive the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update.The news comes from South Korean company which announced that the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update has started to be rolled out for AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II device.
So, the new firmware for AT&T Galaxy Note II (i317) is available beginning December 17, and it comes with a series of new features and enhancements.
The new software baseband version number to I317UCUBMK6 include Samsung Galaxy Gear compatibility, PEN. UP, Camera – Shot & Sound, Multi-Window (Note 3 Version), Group Play 2.5, Group Messaging, New Easy Mode, Samsung Link (Preload), Samsung Apps, Knox and bug fixes.
Even if the updating process is an automatically one, and it should be no impacts to settings or your data stored into device’s internal memory, its developers recommend that users who update their device with this latest software to back up all your data existent there, also for that you can use the Samsung Kies and the back up tutorial from here.
The users can update their device from Home screen, then tap Menu> Settings>About device>Software Update>Check for updates then press OK and Continue.
Now, the Galaxy Note II device will start to download the new firmware and after the software is downloaded and installed the device will restart, after the restart is complete you need select DONE option to finish the updating process.
After the installation of new software is done, you can verify the new firmware from Home screen then tap Menu>Settings>More>About device. In this section, the new version of update should appear like this: Android version: 4.3, Baseband version I317UCUBMK6, and Build number: S15J.I317UCUBMK6.
