Owners of Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia T2 Ultra Dual will be pleased to know that their devices received Android 4.4.2-firmware certification on PTCRB and this way Sony Mobile will be able to keep its promise and update two devices to Android 4.4.2 KitKat, all this within the month of July.
For Xperia T2 Ultra (D5303) the new firmware build is listed with number 19.1.A.0.473, and it will replace your existing firmware version namely build number 19.0.1.A.0.207, as for version T2 Ultra Dual (D5322) the Android 4.4.2 update is labeled with the number 19.1.C.0.116 which will take the place of build number 19.0.D.0.253.
The certification was obtained yesterday, 9th July, indicating that it could not spend much time between now and the official release via OTA, so keep an eye on the notification bar because as soon as your device is ready to receive an update to a new version of Android you will receive a notification message from the system. Also, you can check from time to time if an update is ready for you by going to Settings -> About phone -> Software updates -> System updates.
For the same period, are expected to have the updates to Android 4.4.2 KitKat Xperia E1 and Xperia M2 devices.
