As you probably know LG started rolling out Android 4.4.2 KitKat update to their devices, and if you are a Sprint LG G Flex owner, we are glad to inform you that now is the time for you to receive the update, because it started to hit the LG G Flex devices from Sprint.
LG G Flex is probably the most innovative smartphone in recent years because the benefits of a slightly curved design and flexible; the battery inside is also curved the first of its kind in the world. The update for the mensioned device is rolling out in stages, and it will reach all Sprint LG G Flex users, until May 7.
Sprint did not give much information on the Android 4.4.2 update’s changelog, and we cannot tell you what to expect from it, all we know is that the LG G Flex’s software will be version LS995ZV6.
If we refer to what AT&T users received, then we can give you an idea about what to expect. The update will sure come with the new Android 4.4.2 UI that features new status and navigation bars together with the new full-screen mode. Android 4.4KitKat brings substantial improvements in terms of user experience and battery life that will last longer, thanks to new location settings, that permits the user to select which features the LG G Flex should use to detect its location.
Android 4.4.2 KitKat also brings Knock Code, the feature that allows the user to unlock the device by tapping a code on the screen.
The update will also include immersive mode, Cloud Printing and some other features that Google incorporated into Android 4.4 update.
You can go to Settings ->About Phone ->System Updates to pull the update manually . If not yet available for your device, you must probably need to wait a bit.
