HTC One M7

A new Android 4.4.2 OTA update bringing the Sense 6 UI is now rolling out for HTC One M7 devices from AT&T. The Sense 6 UI was received one week ago by HTC One M7 variants from Verzion and Sprint carriers and now is the time for AT&T to enjoy their users.

Nicknamed “Sixth Sense,” Sense 6.0 was published together with the 2014 HTC One on March 25, 2014. Based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, it is related to Sense 5, but allows new customization possibilities like color themes and new font choices, improved use of transparency effects especially on the home screen, and on devices that use on-screen keys.

The new firmware arrives on the HTC One M7 devices with better power management, Ultra Power Saving Mode, updates camera app, updates to some of its included apps like BlinkFeed, and comes with new motion controls. All the Android 4.4.2 KitKat particular treats( like white status bar icons, immersive mode, Phone dialer with Caller ID, cloud printing, color emoji support, full screen album art in the lockscreen or transparent status and nav bars) have been covered in the previous Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the HTC One M7 AT&T devices, so the purpose of this update is bringing the Sense 6.0 UI.

Exactly like any other firmware update Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Sense 6 for AT&T HTC One M7 is being pushed out in phases that indicate that some users might have to wait a little more until the update reaches their HTC One M7 device.

So, when your AT&T HTC One M7 becomes qualified to receive the new OTA update you should receive a system message in the notification section. All you need to do is to tap on the message and follow the on-screen guidances.
If you do not receive a notification from the system, you have the option to manually check for an update by going to Settings -> About device-> Software updates -> Check now.

In order to avoid data charges is recommended that you use a stable WiFi connection while downloading the new firmware update, and make sure your handset is more that 50% battery charged so it will not turn off during the update process.

If you have received the Sense 6.0 UI update on your AT&T HTC One M7 feel free to share with us your opinion, and let other users know it.
