Android 4.4.3 Official OTA Update Now Available for Sprint HTC One M8 with Wi-Fi Calling Support

Good news for all Sprint HTC One M8 owners, early today the new Android 4.4.3 has official released by Over-the-Air. So, if you have an HTC One M8 device then you should start verifying your smartphone’s notification panel to find a new firmware file available for download.

The info comes from the Sprint support page where you can see the new update is confirmed for the Sprint HTC One M8 device.

With the new Android 4.4.3 flashed on your HTC ONE M8 device you’ll receive the new firmware with new features such as HD Voice Icon, Wi-Fi Calling Support, Security improvements, improved battery life and more.

All users who will install the new Android 4.4.3 would be able to receive the next Android 4.4.4 or latest KitKat builds.

With Android 4.4.3 KitKat all HTC One M8 owners on Sprint Carrier will receive the Wi-Fi Calling option that comes to give for its users the possibility to place voice calls and in addition sending SMS text messages by using only Wi-Fi network. So, now all HTC One M8 users will be able to send SMS text without be able to avoid their data mobile plan, but for the new Wi-Fi Calling to be used you need to register an account and then register Wi-Fi networks.

The new update is not a major one, but it still comes with new tweaks, security improvements, and new features that you might have missed on the previous one.
