Android 4.4.4 R2 update for Nexus 5 rolling out to 2Degrees/New Zealand, Telstra/Australia and India

Nexus 5

Google has just started the roll out of a new Android 4.4.4_r2 update denoted by the build number KTU84Q for Nexus 5 smartphones.
It seems that this is a minor update that goes to fix some problems in the previous firmware version and should get the Nexus 5 devices that have already been upgraded.

The roll out has not started yet at the global level but only in certain markets being intended only for users of 2Degrees/New Zealand, Telstra/Australia and India.
The new build KTU84Q OTA update is currently available for few Nexus 5 users but is expected to extend in all three countries in the next days.

The Android 4.4.4_r2 update fixes telecom operator support problems and includes an updated radio image, according to recent users reports.

You will find the Android 4.4.4_r2-factory images and binaries posted by Google on its developers website.

If you do not live in the mentioned countries, your Nexus 5 device will not be eligible to get a new Android 4.4.4_r2 OTA update and also is not recommended for you to flash the factory image file as it is not intended for your carrier or region, and this may lead to some network related issues.

If you have updated your Nexus 5 device, let us know your opinion and changes you have noticed in our comments section from below.
