Great end of the week for all BBM for Android application’s users who are waiting a new version of their preferred application. The BlackBerry Company comes with a new update for BlackBerry Messenger application for Android named version 2.2
As you can see that the BBM application in the last couple of months received several updates for Android devices which added some new features and resolved different bugs.
Early today the Canadian company has announced that an n new iteration of BBM application should come on Android devices in the next week.
Unfortunately, this new update doesn’t come with major features, video calls or other significant changes, but it comes with new improvements and bug fixes.
According to, BlackBerry Company this latest update comes with a simpler sing up process for new BBM users. In addition, now with the new update you can start chatting and sharing even faster than before.
For making a new account you have need Name, Email and Password only and you can start on BBM, for those of you that already have a BBM account this change won’t impact them note BlackBerry’s Jeff Gadway in a blog post.
A new change is that it has renamed the “Updates” tab “Feeds” an there are now added 16 new emoticons like as hotdog, hacker, hot lips and maracas.
As I told you before with this new version of BBM lots of bugs have been fixed in order to obtain a better performance and to have a smoother BBM experience.
The BBM Canadian Company has also confirmed that it will come with a major update for its application in a couple of weeks.
All users who want to download BBM app for Android version 2.2 can do this totally free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with devices powered by Android 2.3.3 or higher.
