Chrome Remote Desktop for Android

Remote Desktop support was added to the Chrome web browser for Android devices as an extension that can be installed optionally, which until now was only for the PC version of Google Chrome

In this way, users of Android devices can now access the desktop PC from home or office, wherever and whenever they have an internet connection available.

As previously, available as a free Android application it is required to install a Google Chrome extension.

Remote Desktop sessions are possible as WiFi and LTE mobile internet connections, the connection required for entering PIN identification code created on the device that we want to join. Once the first connection, PCs that we access using Remote Desktop sessions are put in a list of associated devices.

Chrome Remote Desktop extension is available for free from the Google Play Store, for your Android devices, or its APK file from here.

Once installed the app on your Android device, you are prompted to install Chrome Remote Desktop extension for the Chrome browser of your desktop, a simple procedure that requires you to connect the remote computer and establish a code PIN for PC.

After you have done this, the computer’s name will appear on the Chrome Remote Desktop in your browser. Then you know what to do, get into Android app, connect to the desired PC and enter the PIN. Google allows you to connect multiple PCs to your account.

Small pop-up alerts that someone uses the remote PC desktop in the browser appear all the time as the application is active.
