CyanogenMod for 11 Nightly build starts to be available for Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet. The new CM custom ROM is a perfect candidate for all custom ROMs available for the Xperia Z2 device.
So, the CyanogenMod team has started rolled out the new nightly releases for Z2 Android-base tablet. The new CM 11 is available for both Wi-Fi (SGP511, SGP512) under codename “Castor Windy” and LTE variants (SPGP521, SPG541, SPG551) under codename “Castor”.
As you probably know that the new CM 11 KitKat Nightlies custom ROM is based on the AOSP Android 4.4 KitKat OS, but unfortunately the CM team says that won’t offer their support for any bug reported on this Nightlies custom ROM.
Anyway, the first nightly build for Xperia Z2 Tablet is available for download from CyanogenMod’s download web page here.
If you do decide to install the new CyanogenMod 11 Nightly custom ROM on your Wi-Fi and GSM/LTE Versions of Xperia Z2 Tablet then you need to have installed the latest version of custom Recovery Images of CWM or TWRP custom Recovery. Moreover, do not proceed to flash the new CM11 Nightly OS on your device without a backup. Once the new custom ROM (CM11) is flashed then you need to install the Gapps package for the Google applications.
