Wow! A good news for Samsung Galaxy Note II users. A team from sammobile website has introduced a brand new Android 4.3 Test Firmware for Samsung Galaxy Note II model number GT-N7100.

With this latest development, it can be safely presumed that the Samsung Galaxy Note II will receive soon the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update.

The new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update comes for those who want to test it. It has some  bugs so it is important to back-up all the data before testing it otherwise all the important information may be lost.

The new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Firmware update brings new UI elements similar to the graphical elements from Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3. Moreover, there we can find some new features such as Samsung Knox and Samsung Wallet.

How to install the Leaked Android 4.3 test firmware for Galaxy Note II (GT-N7100).

  1. First, download N7100XXUEMJ5_N7100OLBEMJ4_N7100XXUEMJ5_OLB.zip file, save it in your PC and extract its content on the desktop.
  2. Second, download Odin v3.09 from here or here and save it in your PC.
  3. Extract the Odin.zip file and Open ODIN3 V3.09 file.
  4. Restart the Galaxy Note 2 in download mode. To enter into download mode press and keep holding the Home +Power + Volume down buttons.
  5. Now, connect the smartphone to the PC via USB cable and wait until the ODIN application displays a blue sign.
  6. Add the extracted  N7100XXUEMJ5_N7100OLBEMJ4_N7100XXUEMJ5_HOME.tar.md5 to AP
  7. Important: Make sure that the repartition into ODIN is not ticked.
  8.  When you want to start the installation process click Start button from ODIN.
  9. Now, just wait a few minutes.
  10. The installation of the new firmware file is done.

Troubleshooting:

  • If you’ll receive any issues with the firmware (FC, Bootloop or other issues):
  • Boot the device into Recovery Mode by pressing Home+Power+Voulme Up buttons simultaneously.
  • Select from the Recovery Mode the wipe/factory reset option. Attention: This action will delete all of your data including the internal SD Card.
  • Now, from the main menu of the Recovery Mode select reboot.
