All owners of T-Mobile LG G2 (NYSE:TMUS) variant should be happy because that a new firmware update is now available for download and install on their device. The new operating system is namely Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and it comes especially to add some new features, new bug fixes and optimization.
As I said before, the new Android 4.4.2 update is available for download and installing for all T-Mobile LG G2 devices, unfortunately, it cannot be installed via OTA (Over-the-Air). The new firmware has 1.5 GB size and it is delivered as KDZ file. So, for download and flashing the new OS you need to use the LG Mobile Support Tool that ca be found here.
All users who want to install the new system should know that after flashing the new firmware (version KOT49I.D80120a) the T-Mobile LG G2 device will lose any custom recovery that is flashed on it.
