A new release of Google Maps is now available for download for all Android-based devices, namely Google Maps 7.1 version.

So, Google has begun slowly release this new version of Google Maps, but it is not yet available for all countries, but at the end of our post you’ll be able to download and install the APK files of this version.

Also, it comes with a few minor changes, you can easily navigate with your fingers, simply using one finger swipe to move the globe, or a two-finger pinch and rotate to zoom in out, and rotate your viewpoint. Also for tablet users on Android 4.3 (Honeycomb), the new app release is optimized for the large screen resolutions.

Moreover, users will be able to fly around the planet, explore distant lands, and search by voice for cities, places or different business names.

The new iteration brings with a new action bar, which helps you to obtain easy access to search, my location, layers, reset-to-north and more.
