The same restriction was made by Microsoft on iOS. The Microsoft Office app is available only for iPhones and iPads are left out in the cold.

Though Microsoft haven’t said that, we’re thinking they want to keep this application as an exclusive for Microsoft’s Windows 8 and RT platforms. Maybe in the future when the application will be most popular in their tablets will become available for Android tablets.

Using the Microsoft Office 365 for Android you will be available to view all Office documents and also you can edit and create files for Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Also, you can see the last updated synchronized documents to the cloud that sync with the desktop version of Microsoft Office 365. It also comes with a sharing and commenting system and with access to Microsoft sharing services SkyDrive and SharePoint platforms.

On its key features,  we’re finding the possibility to view and edit Office documents attached to email messages.

Office 365 app has more features and capabilities, comparing with the Google’s basic Drive-Docs service, but as we know that for extra functionality using Office 365,  we should to pay.
