A new update of the official Twitter app is now available for downloads for all the users of Android smartphones and tablets, the new version is named version 4.1.6.
The new release app comes with new features, bug fixes and other enhancements. It comes for its users with the possibility to follow conversations on the Twitter social network site straight from the screen of their device.
The new Twitter iteration brings with the feature that allows the users to see the conversations between social users they follow in a new way, the conversations are marked with a blue line on the user home timeline.
Moreover, when you’ll open the new Twitter application the first tweet in the conversation appears above the most recent reply.
Additionally, when it’s about long conversations, the new application will display only up to three tweets on the Twitter home timelines, but with the possibility to tap to see all of the replies, even from Twitter’s people you don’t follow.
The new Twitter update for Android also includes other improvements, there are also numerous security enhancements, along with new notification settings, login verification, new look for conversations, bug fixes for direct messages and more.
With this update, you can share conversation over email, whether your friends are on Twitter or not, additionally you can share via message (DM) as well.
Following the update, users can now report individual different Tweets for abuse or spam directly from Android Twitter application and Twitter.com, but this new feature will be rolling out gradually, the company announced in their blog.
