WhatsApp is certainly the most popular mobile application nowadays and is easily available for various mobile platforms such as Android OS, iOS, Windows Phone, Windows 10 Mobile, BlackBerry, Nokia Symbian and Nokia s40. The first and foremost; you will require a mobile device with WhatsApp to make the application work on your desktop. The reason behind this is that the WhatsApp application on your mobile device acts as a “gateway” to manage all the incoming and outgoing messages.

Now, just launch your web browser and open whatsapp.com/download. Now see at the middle-left side of the window and you will find a “Download for Windows” button. Click on the same and it will start downloading. Once the download is finished, run the downloaded file and complete the installation process. After doing this, you will need to open the WhatsApp Desktop Application on your Windows PC.
You will get a QR code there, that you need to scan using your mobile phone’s camera. To scan the code, launch the WhatsApp application on your mobile device, tap on the option button, choose “WhatsApp Web” feature and scan the QR code using the rear camera of the device. Once done, you will notice that the application is now visible on your computer. But keep in mind that you must need to have internet active on your mobile device as then only this feature will work.
