The developers brought a major update to the application changing the whole design and adding custom sounds too. Smartphones’ users with devices running Android 2.1 and up have now the possibility to update to Facebook Messenger 3.1.1.
With many features that help you instantly reach the people you care about, this version has improvements on the design and sound part. Moreover, it comes with an easier way to add new contacts; what you have to do is only to enter a phone number to record a new contact onto the phone book. In addition, you will also be able to send messages to people in your phone book, not just to your Facebook friends. And all these without paying a dime.
