Google Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Oficial

Internet and software giant Google announced the latest version of Android operating system, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. This event has been synchronized with the launch of the new Nexus 7 tablet.

The new Android 4.3 Jelly bean update comes only as a minor upgrade for its predecessor Android 4.2.2. It comes with a couple of new improvements, new features and bug fixes.

The devices that are currently having the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS installed, allow the users to use and create more accounts, but with the latest version of Android they can do more than that.

After the Android 4.3 is available for your device and you have installed on it, then you can use the latest parental control option for user accounts. That feature allows the administrator to give separate access or to block unwanted applications, filter various content, and restrict in-app purchases or limit access of family, friends, kids, and more.

From the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware, you can use the latest autocomplete feature for names and also for numbers in the Dial Pad screen. Moreover, the Keyboard has been improved with a better keyboard prediction algorithm. It also comes with a better time reactivity for the USB peripherals.

The latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean version comes now with a new menu in Settings> Apps for the blocked applications; also, the new OS brings a simplified modality for setting up a new Android terminal with a new possibility to quick switch between its multiple user accounts. The localization feature based on WiFi is now more accurate, and the GPS option is less used, but the localization based on GPS continues to remain the most precise way to do that.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS includes Bluetooth Smart (Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy) and Bluetooth AVRCP 1.3 profile. With these two communication protocols, you are able to use audio ID tag for different external devices as car stereos, which will be connected directly with your Android-based device.

Also, with the new Bluetooth Smart your application can communicate with different types of devices and sensors compatible with low-power Bluetooth Smart technology. With this capability you can communicate with new features for medical, fitness, location, proximity and other external intelligent devices.

The OpenGL ES 3.0 and EGL extensions are integrated as standard features with the new OS update; the game developers can use these features to access different frameworks and their native APIs.

OpenGL ES 3.0 is supported by different GPU (graphics processing units) such as Adreno 305, Adreno 320, and Andreno 320, models from the second Midgrad – ARM (Mali T6xx) and PowerVR tribe.

It also comes with new media capabilities such as a modular DRM framework, which allows different media applications to integrate this framework, applications such as MPEG DASH. These media applications can also access native APIs to obtain a high-quality capture or a built-in VP8 encoder.

The notification access is also improved by the Android 4.3 operating system for Android devices; your applications can now access or have interactions with different status bar notifications. With this new capability,  you can display your applications in any way you want.

Also, it comes with an improved profiling tools; it brings with new tags in the Systrace tool and a new improved on-screen GPU profiling feature.

The user interface has received  new optimizations with this latest operating system update and promise performance improvements without developing other supplementary software.

The new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean rolled out for different new devices from the Nexus family including Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 10, Galaxy Nexus but for the moment no words about its availability for Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone or HTC One Google Edition.
