Google Play Services

Google updated Google Play services to version 4.4, adding new useful services and applications programming interface.
The new version of Google Play services has started already rolling out global, but it will probably take some time to achieve all Android devices.
The release adds significant enhancements to Maps, Location, Games Services, Wallet API and Mobile Ads.
Google Maps Android API introduced the anticipated feature embedded Street View representation into an activity allowing us to see places through panoramic 360-degree illustrations, designed to programmatically control the behavior of the Street View camera such as zoom, orientation, animation of camera movement over the duration, and more.
In the Location API besides the ability to detect if the device is still, in a vehicle, on foot, on a bicycle, or tilting, we find now running and walking added.

Games Sevices have been tweaked and now provide multiple game gifts, for better collaboration and social engagement between players.

Instant Buy API received a Buy With Google button in an app, the Wallet Fragment API added in this version makes it very easy to combine Google Wallet Instant Buy with an existing app.

Mobile Ads, comes with new APIs for publishers to display in-app promo ads, which allows users to purchase advertised items directly from the application.
