Google released a new update for its Google Search application for Android devices, namely 2.8.7 version.
While in the Google Play Store isn’t an actual change log the new update comes with some notable changes.
The new iteration comes with some improvements, optimisations and bug fixes, in additional it comes with a new feature as a wider recognition for TV programming, notes Android Police.
In the previous Google Search Update app, we found for the devices which is running Android Android 4.1+ (Jelly Bean) OS the features such as related website for current location, real-time sports and flight updates or additional Smart-TV cards for news & music currently on TV. Now, with this new iteration the TV detection card has been improved with Live TV broadcasts possibility and in additional with some recorded programs which can be detected comparing with the previous one which allows only live TV broadcasts can be detected.
Moreover, the latest release also brings a refined tablet UI tweak including a smaller margin an each side of cards in the portrait mode; also there you’ll find support for more languages which means the Google Search application will be more closely be you in your native language.
