Good news for all HTC ONE Google Play owners, starting with today Google starts to push out the official Android 4.4 KitKat update firmware.

The new firmware comes such as an automatically OTA notification, and it should be available on the device’s notification panel, or also users can verify the availability of the new update from Software Update menu.

The latest Android 4.4 KitKat OTA update will be available starting with today on the HTC ONE GE edition devices, but as you probably know that not all users will be available to receive the update all in the same time.

The new release will be pushed out in phases and all users who want to download and install it should make sure that will use a Wi-Fi connection for the download process.

The new Android 4.4 KitKat OS comes for HTC One Google Play edition with new features, applications and enhancements such as full-screen immersive mode, new open architecture for NFC payments, OK Google commands for enabling Google Now, better and faster multi-tasking, smarter caller IDs and more.
