IFTTT available for your Android device in Google Play Store

IFTTT for Android

IFTT app has finally arrived in Google Play Store and can be downloaded on your Android devices. “If This Then That” is the full name of the application meant to make our virtual life easier.

If you do not know what IFTTT is let’s find out together.

IFTTT is a service that acts as an aggregator for a multitude of applications. IFTTT brings it all together and then you get all sorts of results with a simple set of criteria. You think that maybe is too difficult or technical, but in reality anyone can do the set ups. You choose what applications to use, what to do and you immediately get the desired result.

If you are a person who has only one email account and check their Facebook profile from time to time, maybe is not for you. However if you have accounts on all possible social networks, post anything you do and think on Facebook, this is for you.

It works very simply.

If that happens, then that happens.

IFTTT uses channels, triggers, actions, ingredients and recipes. Channels represent the basic building blocks for the service and each has its own set of triggers and actions.

Triggers are the THIS part of IFTTT. Here begins the process. As with channels, you can play with a lot of triggers ( when you send an email, you climb a video, you get a message, when someone sees your profile ).

The Actions are the THAT piece, or what should happen if there is a trigger.

The ingredients are pieces of data to form a trigger. For example, the ingredients of a trigger email include subject, message body, attachment file type or the date when you receive an e -mail. Several ingredients form a personal recipe, as in the kitchen. Networks are the combination of a trigger and action of selected channels.

Looking for the recipe you are interested in and use that.

You probably already know what power this app provides you, so download it from the Google Play Store and tell us if you have a favorite recipe.

The application is for devices with Android 4.0 or a newer version.
