LG G2 was established few days ago to get the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update globally, only customers in India did not get the initial rollout. However, this is a standard method when a new software update is released for some countries to receive it later than others.
Mobigyaan notices that the India’s Android 4.4.2 KitKat version of LG G2 has about 535 MB in size. The update is released in waves over the air, and the LG G2 owners that did not get yet the notification can check for it manually( Settings -> About Phone -> Software update). They will notice that the arrival of Android KitKat will bring graphical improvements, improved battery consumption, faster processing speed, printing in the Cloud option with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection, improvement in “Knock On” feature.
Due to the large size of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat file, is better for the LG G2 users in India to download the update using Wi-Fi network so they can save on their data bandwidth.
