LG G2 from Sprint receives Android 4.4.2 KitKat OTA update

Android 4.4.2 KitKat over-the-air update is now being pushed to LG G2 users from Sprint. After AT&T and T-Mobile released the update about a month ago now the update comes from Sprint’s users for their LG G2 variants. The changes mentioned by Sprint are just a fix for Next Radio audio issue, but be sure that the KitKat is carrying with it all its features.
After you receive an update notification to Android 4.4.2 KitKat on your LG G2 from Sprint, choose “Instal now” option after the download have completed. Your device will be updated to Android 4.4.2 KitKat after the restart. If you did not receive the notification, check in Settings ->System Updates-> Update LG software-> Check now and you will find out if an update is available for your smartphone, if not, do not worry, because is standard that the firmware to be released to all users in different days. You can also check for the update using the LG PC companion app.
However, if you prefer the OTA download is suggested to use WiFi connection in order to avoid data charges.
