Moto X receives Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update for Republic Wireless Users

Many Moto X models received Android 4.4.2 KitKat for some time, now is the time for the Republic Wireless versions to receive it.
Republic Wireless announced that they started to update OTA the Moto X to Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
First only 2.000 users will receive an update by April 30 in order to see what feedback they get, and afterwards following the staged sending out to the other users until May 9. The reason that they do so is to have a variety of testers and also is the fastest way to send an update for testing.
The Android 4.4.2 KitKat comes with improved Google Now search that understand what information you need and makes suggestions, ” touch to focus” along with Camera app, which allows you to take better pictures. The “touch to focus” option is improved with a circular, on screen controller that can be pulled by your finger around the viewfinder to change a photo’s focal point and exposure.
Moreover, the update brings new Dialer and Caller ID functionality and other KitKat improvements as transparent status and navigation bars, full screen album art in lockscreen, white status bar icons, immersive mode and more.
You will receive a notification message when an update is ready for your Moto X device, all you have to do is to follow the instruction on the screen.
