New Android 4.4.2 KitKat Now Arriving on Sprint’s Galaxy Tab 4

Samsung has started rolling out the new Android 4.4.2 Update for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 to Sprint.

According to the Sprint’s support page the new Samsung Galaxy Tab Android 4.4.2 update is now rolled out to users.

As you probably know that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 device comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box and all the KitKat-specific features such as enhanced Location menu, transparent status bar, cloud printing, immersive mode, white status bar iconography, color emoji support, full screen album art in the lock screen has already integrated. In additional, the new firmware update comes with minor changes such as “adds Kids Mode application” and new security patches.

The new Sprint Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Android 4.4.2 firmware is built with T237PVPU1ANL1 number and it is pushed out such as a file with size around 100 MB. Even so, the installation of the new file should be done by using a stable Wi-Fi network in order to protect your mobile data plan.

As usual, the new firmware is released in phases, meaning that some devices have to wait additional before being able to receive it.
