RIP: The Nexus 5 Isn’t Getting Android 7.0 Nougat, Let’s Mourn

So without beating about bush we would like to say that this is a bad news for all Nexus lovers who were waiting Android 7.0 Naugat to be part of the Nexus 5. No this is not going to happen as officially proclaimed by Google.

The Nexus 5 was launched in 2013 and it was widely appreciated by reviewers. It had a good design, excellent performance, and competitive price. It was a very good phone indeed with a lot of potential. It carried Android 4.5 KitKat and introduced a unique immersive feature and storage access framework.

It is undoubtedly one of the top 10 Android smartphone devices and people really loved it.Though it was ridiculed for battery performance and camera, yet it left a huge impact on the Android lovers.So Nexus 5 is not going to get Android 7.0 and only in Nexus 6.0, you can enjoy the Naugat features.

Those Nexus 5 owners who were expecting the update has now only one option left. Nexus 5X is not an older phone and you can sale it pretty easily and you can buy the next Nexus series. Another thing is that Nexus 7 too is not getting Naugat 7.0 .
