After numerous rumors and speculations about the Note 3 specifications, the Samsung Note 3 phablet is now official. It was official presented during the company’s Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 event in Berlin.
The numerous rumors initially reported that the new flagship will come with 5.9-inch or even 6.1-inch size display, but the Note 3 is only with 0.2 inches bigger as its predecessor Note 2. So, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 device comes with a 5.7 Super AMOLED Display with HD 1920 x 1080 resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. As we can see the new Note 3 is not so bigger than its predecessor, while the new 5.7 screen will manage better the Multi Viewer feature, it’s remarkable easier to use this feature.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was powered by Qualcomm’s mighty Snapdragon 800 chipset with a 2.3 GHz four Krait 400 cores CPU inside, Adreno 330 GPU, paired with 3GB of RAM.
On the back, Galaxy Note 3 sports a 13-megapixel camera with BSI Sensor snapped with Smart Stabilization and high CRI LED and support for 1080p@60fps video recording and shoot 4K video; also it paired with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor and Smart Stabilization to enable video calling on the go.
The specs list of the mobile phablet also includes Wi-Fi 802.11a/g/b/n/ac (dual band capable), DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 LE (Low Energy) with A2DP, IR support, MHL 2.0 support and microUSB 2.0.
Galaxy Note 3 measures 151.2 x 79.1 x 8.3mm (1mm narrower than the Samsung Galaxy Note 2) and it weights Weight: 168 grams (15 grams lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Note 2) and packs a 3200mAh battery.
The smartphone arrives in three internal storage options 16,32 and 64 GB flavors and support got microSD cards up to 64 GB while providing buyers with the possibility to choose between three colors jet black, classic white and blush pink, but customers can also buy optional covers in up to 10 colors. Moreover, Samsung offers a folding cover with a “window” in front of display that leaves part of the screen to be visible.
The new released Note 3 phone is featured with an upgraded S Pen Stylus, when the users tapping on the screen and clicking the pen’s button will expose a semi-circular menu called Air Command. The new semi-circular menu has several functions such as Scrapbook, S Finder and taking written symbols into account. The new Scrapbook feature lets you save any content onscreen by making it with a circle using the S Pen device, while the S Finder feature lets you search for content on the device.
Furthermore, it will come with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz on top and plenty of new software and features as My Magazine, Air Command, Pen Window, Multitasking, Multivision and other Samsung apps that exist already on handsets like Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 2.
The Galaxy Note 3 is confirmed to come with a textured leather back that make it to locks closer of a premium smartphone device.

No words about the price of the new device, but Samsung officials announced that the Galaxy Note 3 release date will be on September 25th worldwide in 149 countries.
Together with Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung officially introduced other two products, Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch and the new Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet 2014 edition.
