Note 3 update to Android 4.4.2 KK

One of the most popular Android based device named Galaxy Note 3 from Sprint carrier is ready now to receive the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat Operating System (N900PVPUCNC5). The US Sprint carrier released a new KitKat-based update for its Samsung phablet.

As we can see that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is not the first Sprint device that receives the WiFi calling support. This feature has been received of both Samsung Galaxy S4 mini and Galaxy Mega device, this year in February.

There with this latest update the Sprint Galaxy Note 3 users can enjoy with the Android 4.4 KitKat update’s features such as cloud printing, white status bar icons, immersive mode, transparent status and Navbar, TouchWiz User Interface tweaks and more.

With this new update, the Sprint carrier presents in the official list only the WiFi Calling features as a new feature and in additional we can see mentioned there the name of this update such as N900PVPUCNC5.

The new update will be pushed out in stages and it can be available in several days until all users will be available to download and install it.

When the N900PVPUCNC5 OTA update will be available for your device a system update message will pop up in your Note 3 display into the notification area and what the user needs to do is to download the update file and install it. After the download is done you need to select the “install now” option and then wait for the device to reboot and apply the new update.

If you did not receive the latest update you can manual check for it by navigating on the next path: Settings > General > System Update > Update or you can use the KIES software by using a Personal Computer and a connection with the Note 3 device by using the USB cord.

Unfortunately in the official change log for the latest Android 4.4 KitKat N900PVPUCNC5 firmware does not tell us anything about the size, but probably it should not weight more than 60 MB. Anyway the best way to download the update is to use a stable WiFi network.

Did you received the new Android 4.4.2 KitKat (N900PVPUCNC5) update on your Sprint Galaxy Note 3 device?
