The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Android 4.4.2 OTA update is now rolling out to Sprint users, so if you own this device you can start checking the notification area.

As we can read on Sprint’s support page the Android version 4.4.2, KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has build number T217SVPUBNE7 and, just like all software update, is being pushed out to users in stages, meaning that it can take some days until the update is made available for all users; thus some users might not be ready to download and install it right now.

Sprint provided a detailed changelog for the Samsung GalaxyTab 3 7.0 Android 4.4.2 update.

The KitKat treats include Wireless Printing, full screen album art in the lockscreen, transparent Status and Navigation Bars, Expanded Emoji support, new Location menu, new Lock Screen Access, SMS App Chooser, you should also expect performance boosts and better power management.
