Sprint Updates LG G Flex With Wi-Fi Calling And More

The Sprint carrier started to roll out an update for its LG G Flex variant.
The update starts rolling out in stages and as normal may take some days for the roll out to reach all LG G Flex users from Sprint. The software version is LGLSZV7, and one of the biggest features that it adds to the LG G Flex is Wi-Fi calling. This feature will allow users to make voice calls using a Wi-Fi connection.
Sprint’s latest update for the LG G Flex smartphones also includes a Google Patch that adds bug fixes for SMS and improves Security.

Furthermore, users will receive with this update an HD Voice Icon and also updated email signature.
As already mentioned, the software is going to be rolled out in stages, and the rollout may take some days to complete. The roll out of LGLSZV7 software will last until 16th of July and until then all LG G Flex owners on Sprint should receive it. We remind you that the update rolls out only for devices that are running stock Android OS, and it will not be pushed for custom ROM devices.

So, once it goes live in your region, you will receive a notification on your LG G Flex device informing you that an OTA update is available for download.
You can also check for the update manually by going to Settings -> System updates -> Update LG software -> Check now.
In the case, the new software build is available for your device you just need to confirm the download and install and your LG G Flex device will begin the update automatically.
