Virus Shield

Virus Shield was one of the most purchased apps on Google Play, only the application of the Deviant Solutions has proven to be a scam, as we find out from androidpolice.

Virus Shield stated that protects personal information from viruses, malware and spyware and that, besides, improves speed response of the phone, the application states that runs in the background without disturbing and has a minimal impact in terms of power consumption. It may not consume too much energy, because Virus Shield does nothing.

Those who bought it had to pay $ 3.99, with around 10,000 downloads and rated 4.5 from more than 1,700 people. It was found that all it does is to replace a red “X” with a red symbol “check “.
Google already removed it from the Play Store and paid back the money to those who bought it with a $ 5 bonus, money to use for shop applications. Google sent an email to each buyer and announced that the application was found to be something other than it says and that they will get their money back, and also Google apologized for this inconvenience.
