Sony Mobile officially launched an online application the Xperia Keyboard in Play Store. The reason Sony launches the application in Google Play Store is that it can be easily updated in the future without the need to introduce full firmware updates.
Now Xperia Keyboard is an application available globally but may be used only by the owners of Xperia devices. For now, it is unknown whether the application will be made available for other Android devices. The current version of the Xperia Keyboard application number 6.4.A.0.6 comes with the option of back-up and sync with Sony Entertainment Network users account and better support for Thai language.
If you own a Sony Xperia smartphone you can download the free app Xperia Keyboard from Play Store.
Still, Sony has only given the latest version available for Sony Xperia devices operating Android 4.4.2 KitKat. If you have a rooted device, the keyboard has been adjusted to Xperia devices operating Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and above.
