Today we have good news for the users that waited a long time for an update to YouTube app for Android that gives them a chance to choose the desired quality of the videos watched.
Google updated the YouTube application for Android to version 5.7. The new feature added with this update is the ability to select the desired quality of the video that you are streaming, the option is 144p, 240p, 360p or 720p, just like we have on the Youtube version for desktop, although you can not get 1080p. Before this update, we could select just HQ, HD or normal stream. The new update also fixes minor errors and adds stability improvements.
For those who have not yet the YouTube app on their Android device maybe we should mention that it gives you permission to stay current with your favorite videos and playlists from around the world on the go.
The characteristics that define it are:
- Watch a video while you look for the next one
- You can send videos through Google+, e-mail, Facebook or Twitter
- You can subscribe to your favorite channels for easy access in the guide
- Sign in to access your list of “watch later”
- Browse playlists and use the “Play them all” for fun without limits
If you do not have the new YouTube v5.7 for Android go to Google Play Store or click the link from here and grab the apk.
