Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update now available for Sony Xperia Ultra and HTC Butterfly S

The latest version 4.4 KitKat of the Android OS has been delivered to the popular Android smartphones Sony Xperia Z Ultra and HTC Butterfly.

The first device that gets the update it seems to be the model C6833 in Hong Kong. The latest firmware is available for the moment only over the air, but we look forward from Sony to launch it in a short time via its PC Companion. We hope that some other markets will be following Hong Kong shortly.

HTC has likewise started seeing the Android 4.4 KitKat update for HTC Butterfly S. The smartphone got Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Sense UI 5.5 earlier this year, although it appears that HTC has continued working hardly on the KitKat firmware.
