A brand-new Android 4.4.2 update is rolling out for Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 devices from Verizon, so if you are a user of this tablet, you will soon receive the update that is listed with the build number P905VVRUANE4. The new Android 4.4.2 update fixes Calendar bugs, improves security, brings enhanced stability for Science and Technology sections on Home Screen Widget, as well as fixes the bugs encounter by users, according to the changelog from Verizon’s support page.

Android 4.4.2 P905VVRUANE4 update arrives on Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 variant with updates for various apps and widgets including My Verizon, VZ Navigator, Verizon Cloud, Amazon Kindle, Amazon Appstore, Amazon Widget, Amazon IMDb, Amazon MP3 and Amazon Shopping.

The new update also brings Drive scan 1×1, Samsung WatchOn 4×3, and Hancom Office 4×3 widgets, resizes NYTimes 4×6 widget to 4×4 and removes Google Search 3×1 transparent widget.

Just like all OTA software updates, the new firmware is pushed to the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 owners in stages, meaning that not all users will be able to download and install it at once.

When your Verizon Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet will be eligible to receive the new P905VVRUANE4 update, you should receive an automatic system update information in the notification area, and all you need to do is tap on it, select download, and when the download is complete, select install now.
You can also check manually for available updates under Settings -> About tablet -> Software updates -> Check for updates.
We should remind you to make sure your battery is fully charged, and you have strong Verizon Wireless or Wi-Fi connection before beginning your software update.
