Android 4.4.3 KitKat Over-The-Air Update Zip File Now Available For Google Nexus 7 Wi-Fi 2013 Edition

Nexus 7

After Google announced binaries and factory images of Android 4.4.3 update for some Nexus devices, now we are witnessing the first OTA updates running the Wi-Fi version of the Nexus 7 (2013 edition).
You have to be patient because it can take some days until the update hits your Nexus 7 as rollouts usually reach the devices in stages, so keep an eye on your Nexus 7 device’s notification area.

The update measures about 74 MB in size and takes the Nexus 7 (2013 Edition) Wi-Fi firmware from KOT49H to KTU84L, the newest Android 4.4.3 version.
If the Android 4.4.3 OTA Update does not appear soon in your region and you do not want to wait, you can use the KTU84L over-the-air.zip file and flash it using ADB Sideload. Note that because this is an incremental update, you will need your tablet to be in stock form and operating KOT49H firmware.

The KTU84L update adds bug fixes and some tweaks to the UI of your device.
Other improvements include Bluetooth fixes, Power Manager display wakelock fix, random reboot fixed, camera crashes eliminated, frequent data connection dropout fix, fixed camera focus in normal and HDR modes, app shortcuts security fixed, USB Debugging security patched up, data usage graph fixed, camera tweaks, Email Exchange, MMS, internet telephony fix, People Dialer Contacts, DSP, Calendar, VPN and IPv6 fixes, FCC compliance fix and missed a call LED fix. It seems that another significant difference might be the redesigned Dialer.

You will find the Google Nexus 7 (2013 edition) WiFi Android 4.4.3 OTA zip file here.

If you are not interested in the do-it-yourself update way, you can still wait until the OTA update will reach your Nexus 7 (2013 edition) WiFi device.

When the OTA update will be ready for your device, and you receive a notification just open the notification message of your Nexus 7 tablet, confirm download and the device will take care of the update process.

You can also update your Nexus device using the factory image files, but this method will require an unlocked bootloader and also you will lose all the data from your tablet.
