Android 4.4.3 Started Rolling Out To Nexus 5 Devices From Sprint

Nexus 5

Nexus 5 owners from Sprint, the U.S-based network was announced to roll out the Android 4.4.3 Kitkat update. The firmware update received the build name KTU84F, and is available starting 14 April and will be rolled out to users as usual, in stages. The Android builds KTU84F for the Google Nexus 5 device will permit the Sprint Spark band 26 and band 41 as well as different Android updates that the carrier did not mention in its first change log.

The update to Android 4.4.3 in line with what Google says will adjust issues regarding data connection, random reboots, various camera bugs and missed calls. Besides the bugs fixed, it seems that Android 4.4.3 does not bring anything new in terms of UI or other characteristics.

Until now, the update was not registered on Google’s factory Images for Nexus Devices webpage, but considering that KTU code is used in general for all the device’s Nexus 5 unlocked from U.S., it is likely that it will be available soon for others users in USA.

Due to sources leaked some days ago, Google gave Android 4.4.3 for testing of 1% of their employees, which is expected by the other devices Nexus, and also Google Play Edition, Motorola, LG, Samsung and Sony.

If advised that an update to Android 4.4.3 KitKat is available for your Nexus 5 device, follow the onscreen guidances to complete the installation, or you can check manually by following the general steps by going to Settings-> About phone->System updates->Check now, if an update is available, follow the indications to update the system software.
