What can we expect from LG G3 smartphone

LG Isai

The crowded market of Android devices will gain a new member, a smartphone from LG, called LG G3. LG will offer interesting new features in the new phone, more details have leaked to the press after a phone model named LG LS990 arrived on Sprint’s U.S. website.

As mylgphone’s publication hints the new G3 specs include a QHD screen with a diagonal of 5.5 inches which runs at a resolution of 1440 × 2560 pixels, the operating system is Android 4.4.2 KitKat and connectivity options include 4G LTE/ EVDO/IS2000.

LG G3 processor used is 800 quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon ( MSM8974 ) that runs at a frequency of 2.3GHz with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Other specs include GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, microSD card slot that can provide up to 64GB more storage space, the back camera has a 13MP sensor ( being capable of shooting 4160 × 3120 resolution pixels) and a front camera of 2.1MP.

It remains to see how the design of the South Korean company flagship will show. This could be revealed by a new smartphone launched by LG in Japan, as we find out from @evleaks.

The smartphone in topic is called LG Isai and is the follower of the first generation which was launched last year exclusively through operator KDDI Japan. Unlike the first generation Isai, the new model comes with much thinner margins and a much larger display up to 6 inches.

However, it seems that LG had to abandon the front camera for the integration of such a display on the terminal. Also, the back of LG Isai now includes only the power button that is located on the right and the volume buttons.

Given that, the design of the first generation LG Isai was mostly similar to that of LG G2, we can only assume that the new flagship LG G3 will look something like the new LG Isai.

The smartphone release date has not been announced yet but considering this information we can assume that LG will present the device in the second part of this year.
