Android 4.4.3 Update Now Available For Xperia Z Ultra, One M7, One M8, Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition Devices And Moto E, Moto G and Moto X

As expected, after Google released the Android 4.4.3 update for the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 [2013] devices two days ago, now the Google Play Edition devices are getting updated to the latest Android firmware, with users reporting the OTA availability of the mentioned update.

The Google Play Edition devices that users reported receiving the Android 4.4.3 OTA update are HTC One M7, HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy S4, And Xperia Z Ultra.

Just like all software updates, the Android 4.4.3 update for the Google Play Edition devices is being rolled out in stages, which means that it may take some days until the new firmware reaches all users. Once your Google Play Edition device becomes eligible to receive the Android 4.4.3 update, you will be prompted by the system with a message in the notification area, so you should keep an eye on your device.

If the system update notification is not appearing, you also have the option to check manually for it.

The Android 4.4.3 KitKat update brings security enhancements and several bug fixes to the devices.

Users of HTC One M7 Google Play Edition handset reported that besides the new Phone dialer app that brings a new color scheme for the dialer and a card-based interface for favorite contacts, the new update adds performance and stability enhancements and several bug fixes.

The Motorola company announced Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for its Moto E, Moto G and Moto X, and pointed that the new update will begin rolling out this week with the Moto X  from T-Mobile, Moto G devices in the US and Moto G devices in Brazil.

If you have a Moto G, Moto X or Moto E device you should see the update soon coming with some minor bug fixes and a couple of newly redesigned apps.

The Moto X will receive an update to the camera performance making the exposure better, more realistic flash colouring and some improved low light photos in the front camera.
There is also the addition of a button to pause video whilst recording as well as the Motorola Alert app which sends periodic alerts to selected contacts in your book.

The Moto E is receiving the stock Android 4.4.3 update without any special features, and the Moto G is getting the video pause button and the Motorola Alert application.
