Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OTA Update Rolling Out for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at Verizon

This week, a new OTA Android update is released for Galaxy Note 3 from Verizon. Unfortunately the new update is not Android 5.0 and it is the Android 4.4.4 KitKat with build number N900VVRUDNK1.

According to the official Verizon changelog the new Android update comes with new improvements, applications and bug fixes. Once the newest OTA Verizon Android 4.4.4 Galaxy Note 3 you should see the new updates such as improved LTE connectivity, voice reception, an enhanced sound quality, numerous VPN and SMS issues solved and an odd bug that caused the Bluetooth audio bug when the user using WiFi simultaneous.

Moreover the new iteration comes with some added software on top. The Android 4.4.4 firmware cones with preinstalled version of the Knox encryption application, Side Sync call forwarding, new Samsung Kid’s mode, and a “virtual tour” camera application. In addition you’ll find there Verizon’s support, updated Softcard payment (formerly Isis) apps, improved 4G data connectivity and more.

The new update is released by using the Over the Air (OTA) method and if you have a rooted device then you might want to wait on this release, as you probably know that ant modifications to the android system may cause the automatically update to fail.

So, if you have a stock software that is running on your Verizon Galaxy Note 3 all that you need to do is to check the update button on your device’s Settings menu and then press to download and install the new update.
