Last week, Motorola has just announced the availability of the new Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for its Moto X, Moto G an Moto E devices in India.
The new update is expected to be pushed out in phases by using the Over the Air (OTA) method, so not all users will receive it in the same time, but it should be available on their Motorola device in the coming days.
The announce comes via Twitter where we can see that the new Android 4.4.4 KitKat will be rolled out for the Moto E, Moto G, and Moto X devices in India, and it is expected after that for all devices worldwide.
As already told you before, the new Android 4.4.4 KitKat update will be available on smartphones over-the-air, that’s means that it will comes on your Moto device as an automatically notification on the device’s notification panel.
However, if the automatically notification isn’t available on your device, then you can also make an manually check k via Settings > About phone > Software update.
The Android 4.4.4 KitKat brings several stability, new features such as new phone dialer, framework and security fixes (OpenSSL-related fixes). Depending on the Moto device, the firmware size file is said to be between 50MB and 70MB.
