Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 receive Android 4.4.4 KitKat for Canadian Carriers

S3, Note 2 receive Android 4.4.4 KitKat

The new Android 4.4 KitKat update is now pushed out for the Canadian carriers of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 device.

The new update is rolling out at companies such as Rogers, Bell, TELUS and Koodo for its Galaxy Note 2 and S3 devices. In addition, the Android 4.4 KitKat measure 500 MB for Galaxy Note 2 and for S3 is 346MB in size.

The new firmware comes with different changes such as white status bar icons, wireless printing, camera shortcut, album art directly on the look screen, Samsung Wallet, a better stability, transparent status bar, NFC tap to pay support, enhanced ram usage, Samsung KNOX 2.0, Emoji for Keyboard and bug fixes.

So, the new OTA update should be available such as an automatically update on your Note 2 or Galaxy S3 devices’ notification panel.

The new update Android 4.4.4 can be downloaded and installed on the HTC One M8 and M7 Google Play Edition devices where it comes with security patches, some UI improvements, bug fixes and more.

Moreover the new Android 4.4.4 is scheduled to be available on devices such as HTC One M8 dual-sim model, HTC One E8, HTC ONE Mini 2.
