Today, Google Docs for Android OS is now available with new documents editing features via Google Play Store.
Starting with this new version of Google Docs for Android devices you’ll be able to use a lot of the Google Doc desktop application directly on your Android based device.
Moreover, users will be able to create and edit different Word documents, which wasn’t possible before to do this. With this new iteration, Google also adds support for the newest Android L OS, fewer persistent icons in action bar, and there’s also a floating new document button integrated as well.
The new update also comes with dictionary permissions which can be used for better spellcheck and a accurate corrections, but the Docs application’s users will also be able to add words to dictionary more easily than before.
In addition, the application come with a redesigned UI and users will see there’s a new account selection drop-down style, new details page and a new editing User Interface feature.
The new Google Docs application also will show you differences between Word and Docs files and in addition it allows you to open files directly from your device’s storage and to send files as PDF or Word.
