One of the most popular Android applications, Google Play Music received a new update to v 5.6. Before update your existent application you need to know that it’s not a huge iteration, but there are still some notable new changes.
The new iteration brings features such as new switch in navigation slide-out to toggle between on-device and all music, new account switcher UI, support for Android TV casting and more.
Moreover, if you’ll download the new Google Play Music v5.6 there you’ll find the new empty download queue UI, no longer works with Cheapcast, authorized devices now with the possibility to sort of categorized, device limits now set to maximum of 5 devices (still 10 overall).
As we can see that you still get 10 devices, but only five of them can be smartphones, the rest of them can be computers, tablets or any other devices. The new Android TV support is a great feature, but for the moment there are only a few developer devices.
