How To Successfully Enter Into Galaxy Recovery Mode

This step by step guide is for all users who want to learn how to successfully enter into Galaxy Recovery Mode (Stock or Custom Recovery Mode).

This is just a 10 minute process and it’s applicable for all  Samsung Galaxy S5 users who want to use the Recovery Mode.

From the Recovery Mode,  you can do factory reset, wipe cache partition, apply any updates from ADB, install new custom ROM, Kernels, custom files or can increase the device performance..

The process to enter into Samsung Galaxy S5 Recovery Mode is an easy process, you need to do is to use a simple combination of buttons. Let’s learn how to do this.

How to enter into Samsung Galaxy S5 Recovery Mode:

  1. Turn off the Samsung Galaxy S5 device completely.
  2. Now, for booting the device into recovery mode, press and keep holding the Volume Up, Home and Power buttons simultaneously.
  3. When the Samsung Galaxy S5 screen starts to flicker,  release all buttons and the Recovery screen will be displayed.

Note: If the device doesn’t boot into recovery mode, you need to remove its battery, wait a few seconds,  and re-insert the battery and repeat the similar process.

These are the steps  to enter into Recovery Mode Stock or Custom CWM or TWRP mode. For entering into normal mode, you need to use the Reboot option from the recovery mode.

If the device has a custom Recovery Image such as CWM or TWRP Recovery, you can select to boot using this application.

If the device has a custom installed ROM, you need to do the entire Reboot to Recovery function till  the menu is displayed when you press the Power button.

Keep in mind that if you want to install new custom ROMs, custom kernels, to format different device’s partition,  you need to use the custom Recovery Image.

These  are all you need to successfully enter into Galaxy S5 device’s Recovery Mode.
